Foster contains enlisted uniforms, equipment and artifacts of the United States Armed Forces, 1836-1842 and is written by Alejandro M. de Quesada, Jr. Fort Foster lasted only a year and a half during the Second Seminole War (1835-1842), but was very strategic guarding a trestle bridge that spanned western Florida's Hillsborough River.
