Table of Contents In 1985, the first "CARNIVAL CHALK PRIZE" book was published. The first book is comprised of 250 pages, with 220 pictures, black and white with some color, showing 364 figures. This book, "THE CARNIVAL CHALK PRIZE II" shows in excess of 160 more chalk figures, most of which are different from those found in the first book. Since carnival chalk, which is plaster of paris, was crafted and manufactured by many different individuals, most of whom are unknown, it would be very difficult to guess as to just how many more could turn up. This book is designed to be used solely as a guide. It is entirely possible that figures found in this book and in the first book, may not be a true carnival prize. Values from region to region will vary, depending on availability. Values in this book encompass those found in the first book as well. Since plaster of paris is very soft, it would be rare to find a piece in absolute mint condition. The values listed should be considered for very good to mint.
