Table of Contents

Picker's Pocket Guide -- Hot Wheels, much like the pocket size dynamite die-cast cars it features, packs a lot into a little package.

Written by Mike Zarnock, two-time Guinness World Record holder of the largest collection of individual Hot Wheels, this book: Includes savvy tips for adding to or starting a collection of Hot Wheels cars, features Zarnocks' list of the Perfect 10 Hot Wheels, discusses the Red Line era of Hot Wheels history and includes listings of Redline era cars, examines the Sweet Sixteen of Hot Wheels, and explores the Blackwall era, among other things.

One of the coolest aspects of this slender, yet hugely informative book, is the photo treatment. Each photo makes it seem like the Hot Wheels could cruise off the page at any moment. Plus, the photos make it easy to see and appreciate the smallest of details of each car.

Gain collecting advice from one of the premiere experts on Hot Wheels, while enjoying 400 photographs of vintage Hot Wheels.

About the author: Michael Zarnock has been collecting Hot Wheels cars since they were introduced in 1968. Widely respected as the leading authority on Hot Wheels cars variations, Zarnock is a member of the Diecast Hall of Fame. Mattel honored Zarnock by producing the Mike Zarnock's Altered Roadster from the Drag Strip Demon Series in 2009. Mattel based the car on Zarnock's hot rod he built and raced throughout the Northeast. He is also the author of many books about Hot Wheels, including "Hot Wheels Variations: 2000-2013", and is a regular contributor to Die Cast X magazine.
