The initial twenty some years for the Marble's Company were highly interesting with the introduction of new knife designs and the refinement of existing products. This book tries to capture that excitement by showing examples of the products. These were the years when Webster L. Marble was actively involved in the design, manufacturing and management of the products and the company. Marble's made hundreds of products but our only interest here is with their knives, primarily their most popular models, the Ideal, the Woodcraft and the Folding Hunters and only during the period of time up to World War I. Almost every knife shown in this book was made over 100 years ago.
This is a picture book, a photo album of the most exciting and creative period of the famous Marble's outing equipment company.
