In his latest book, Barry Walsh takes us closer to the Hopi artists moving in new and exciting directions with works ranging from very small and very large katsinam and versions made of unusual materials (e.g. silver, glass, yarn, and cloth) to Route 66 dolls, unusual putsqatithu (cradle katsinam), and katsinam-on-strings.
